Funding Options
Funding Options
There are many funding options available to assist your child to access Occupational Therapy services.
Private Health
Many private health funds offer rebates for Occupational Therapy sessions. Ask your private health fund what you may be entitled to.
Medicare
Chronic Disease Management plan- rebates available towards 5 allied health sessions per year for a child with a medical condition that has been (or is likely to be) present for longer than 6 months. This is available through your GP.
Helping Children with Autism plan- rebates available for up to 4 assessment sessions and 20 treatment sessions per lifetime. Eligibility criteria includes children aged under 13 years with a diagnosis of ASD. This is available through your Paediatrician.
National Disability Insurance Scheme
Tanya Currie is not registered as a provider with NDIS, however we are able to work with families with NDIS funding who are either Plan Managed or Self Managed.
Registered Medicare provider for Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plans
